Things Pepper taught us.

   * Never pass up the opportunity to go for a joyride.
   * Allow the experience of fresh air and the wind in your face
      to be pure ecstasy.
   * When loved ones come home, always run to greet them.
   * When it's in your best interest, practice obedience.
   * Let others know when they've invaded your territory.
   * Take naps and stretch before rising.
   * Run, romp and play daily.
   * Eat with gusto and enthusiasm. Stop when you've had enough.
   * Be loyal.
   * Never pretend to be something you're not.
   * If what you want lies buried, dig until you find it.
   * When someone is having a bad day, be silent, sit close by
      and nuzzle them gently.
   * Thrive on attention and let people touch you.
   * Avoid biting when a simple growl will do.
   * On warm days, stop to lie on your back on the grass.
   * On hot days, drink lots of water and lay under a shady tree.
   * When you're happy, dance around and wag your entire body.
   * No matter how often you're scolded, don't buy into the guilt
thing and pout...run right back and make friends.
   * Delight in the simple joy of a long walk.

Pepper was loved by everyone who knew him. This was evident by those who signed his guest book.

Sorry to learn of Peppers passing. We know you miss him alot.

Brothers and sisters, I bid you beware of giving your heart to a dog to tear, When the body that lived for your every will, with its whimper of welcome is still, (how still) When the spirit that answered your every word is gone, whever it goes, for good, You will discover how much you care, for you had given your heart to a dog to tear. I'm sorry I didn't get to meet Pepper. Hopefully, Pepper and Dunny (my late friend) have met and are enjoying themselves in a better place.

I only met Pepper once, and briefly, but was impressed with his sparkling personality. He was a lucky dog, who had a good, long life and made a life a little sweeter for everyone around him. Here's to you, Pepper. Rest in Peace.

I'll always have fond memories of Pepper...I remember going to lunch with Jim, stopping by the house and taking Pepper for a walk. I always tried to get Pepper to go "woo woo" in the mailbox area, but he never did his duty there. Pepper will be missed! We're remembering you down south, good dog! Rest in Peace! Bill Leis
